This Saturday, December 13th from 2:30–5:30 PM, firefighters from the Riverside Fire Authority will be outside our Tower Ave location hosting a “boot drive” fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
They’re raising funds ahead of the 2026 Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb, where five RFA firefighters will join 2,000 others in climbing 69 floors in full gear to support blood cancer research.
You can donate in person with cash or Venmo, or online through LLS — just ask a team member for details.

On Saturday, December 13th from 2:30-5:30 PM, firefighters from the Riverside Fire Authority will be conducting a “boot drive” fundraiser outside our Tower Avenue location to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
A team of five firefighters from the Riverside Fire Authority will be representing Centralia at the 2026 Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb on March 8th.
The team from RFA will be part of 2,000 firefighters participating from across the United States and beyond. The mission of the Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb is to raise money and awareness for research and the treatment of blood cancers for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb is the world’s largest on-air stairclimb competition, exclusively for firefighters. This event is one-of-a-kind, challenging firefighters to climb over 69 floors, consisting of 1,300 steps in full turnout gear to honor and support the blood cancer community.
Donations can be in-person in the form of cash or Venmo. Donations can also be made on-line through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s website. Ask a team member for more information.
